The Perseid Meteor Shower

Stars all around me brightly fall
as I lay in the grass so soft

And watch the stars streak 'cross the sky
As Hokule'a plays in the hot August night

It is a night of memories
Shared only by my cat and me

Deneb Hokule'a, sweet star kitten,
I will love you 'til times end.
