Never say "Never say never"

Don't ever tell me what I'll never do

If you think you know me

Then why don't you show me

Something about me

That God only knew



When I told you that I'd never settle

For aiming for less than the moon

You said, "Though you may think you mean it

The stars will not give you the room"



You tell me that I'll never do it

You're sure that I won't really try

But you will see when I do

And when my big dreams come true

You'll say you always stood by my side



But now you say "Never say never"

I promise you'll always regret it

That phrase will inflame me forever

And I’ll never forget this — you said it
