Sunrise!!

At last
The dawn sprawls in your eyes
Sweet dewy lips part
Scarlet petals of a mythical rose
Born in my innermost secret fantasy
Of you.

Songbirds thrum against a morning sky
The echo an enchanting mood
Gathering in the scented wisps
Of your hair.

At last
I swell with unimaginable joy
As our lips part
Skin melding with the sunrise glow
Of your silky smile,
Maria
