Yours (part one)

This is the first part of a three part poem. It is about the questions, Newbie R&R Plz

If I open my ears
Will you listen?
If I open my eyes
Will you see?
If I held my breath
Would you save me?
If I lit the path
Can you lead?

Answers are not obvious
When written by this hand,
Words blended purposefully
Seeking deeper but not shown,
Every word contains meaning
Every sound holds a key,
Knowing is not the purpose
Awaking to which has grown.

Wary life felt broken
Slowly drowned in expectancy,
Pulled out with strength held
Pushing air into faltered lungs,
Step onto this warning sand
Awaken to eyes promised love,
Peaceful beats hearts as one
Symbolize all perfections that sung.
