FAMILY

this poem talks about family togetherness.

Mommy,daddy,bro and sis
a nuclear family is what exist.
auntie,uncle,grandma and pa
an extended family come together we are.


we traveled from far.......being through war
through all the hard times, came out with no scar;
thank God for his grace that brought us this far
for blessings bestowed... how gratefull we are

While mommy stays home an clean all day,
the children go to school, work and play,
then daddy comes home with a long sigh
looking all tired in his eyes.


When auntie and uncle go to work
they often bring home some real nice dessert
then we gather together at the end of the day
where we thank God for keeping us in his way


grandma and grandpa, the cornerstones of this sphere
kept us together while they were here
now they have gone to their resting place
we have enddevored to continue this race
