Effort

This is a poem about making a difference to change the world.

No one can easily wash their imperfections away

No one can be the most perfect person

No one can pretend they're the happiest

But we can all simply make an effort.

No one wants to hold a grudge forever

No one wants to cry themselves to sleep

No one wants to end up in a world of crime

But we're turning to the road in time.

If we all gave it our best

Things might actually turn out alright

This is where we turn and say,

"im me, and im willing to try"
