Revelation

more new me...

I have always been in control---
not realizing that I was not whole.
Not knowing there was a void
in this weary soul.

I have always felt let down,
felt abandoned and pushed around,
always scared and annoyed,
pushed face first to the ground.

But now I'm not.
Now I do see
the glorious creature
that is me.

For the first time I feel peace.
My fears, they do cease.
I feel comfort, I feel joy.
I know this is not a ploy.
This is real, this is true....
He loves me as He loves you.
