Painful Smiles

Sometimes a smile hurts.

Through the tears I force a smile.

They say it only hurts a while.

Inches then become a mile.

Bubbling insides, churning bile



One more shot, just one more hit.

Won't kill the demons I admit.

But disabled mind helps me forget.

A self demise I will commit.
