[THE GREATEST TRICK OF ALL]

a poem of deception

abracadabra
no not even close
is the truth that has been veiled
from afar
and sometimes even upclose
there is a consciousness to it all
a purpose as it begins to unfold
alas the trick is thus not sold
it has deceived the deceiver
but not the crowd
the crowd has deceived the deceiver
into thinking he has deceived them himself
the greatest trick of all isn't from the deceiver
because he was deceived himself
