Into The Abyss

Poem Written in 2005 during a period of 'darkness' in my life.

From the edge of the world I cling
Screaming in vain, yet always unseen
Looking for salvation I thought you would bring
Crying in agony in this dismal scene

Laughing Laughing
In gales as I slip
You laugh in joy
As my hands lose their grip

Silence!

I scream and you laugh
You laugh even still
No help on my behalf
Just another soul to kill

With a resounding crash I land
At the bottom of the abyss
Your followers together banded
Wanting much more than this

Join me in my tle
As I make my way up
And even if I fall
At least you crack up
