The darkness surrounds me, suffocating my thoughts, taunting me, the emptiness terrorizing my mind 

The fear it brings grabbing hold of me to take me further in its depths

The darkness fights to retain it's hold on me to bring me in to its pit of despair

But I am not alone
He is there with me
His light will shine
He will guide me

The darkness fades, no longer casting shadows on the corners of my mind

The fear ebbs away at the sight and prescence of your spirit within me

The darkness releases its final grip and you catch my heart with the light of your given life
