Just a poem about hope

Heart pounding

Eyes closed to the world

Head spinning

My life lies unfurled

Thoughts flying

Where’s the meaning I need

Tears falling

As we all fall to greed

Heart aching

I wish for a truth

Life aching

I wish that I could


Hope

Hope for morning

Hope keeps us alive

We hope for a better world

In hope we survive
