If I only had one more day to pour out my soul to you,

I could never fill the silence with enough.



I have only begun to witness the depths of this passion,

Though I know it does swell like the tide… I am still



I want to be swallowed in these, our possibilities

No moment gone without child-like wonder



I have but one request



Can I be within you?

Moving to rhythms of you and exhale

Can I stay beneath the skin?

Only long enough to surrender completely



I am in love with you

And in this space I am found wanting

Wanting your embrace, your scent, your presence



And your wave crashes upon me

Clean and strong across my face

Spilling over my shoulders

Down my back

Falling from my thighs to my toes



I will drown willingly, hopefully

Here within my love

Here within you
