Everytime A Friend Comes

I made this one last month...lol

the days pass by so slowly

nothing to think about

i try to look up in the sky

instead I'm back in reality.

i look out the window

into the summer fields

watching people run around, feeling left out.

the phone starts ringing, picking it up, i smile,

"...welcome back..."

haven't heard from you in so long,

its nice to know that your still there.

everytime a friend comes by

taking me out of my own world

i can't help but realize that everyone knows

that one left out and one back in is a feeling words can't describe.

being with friends again,

thats what i look forward to every day
