If I was a planet and you was a star

A short poem I wrote a few months ago, describing what I wanted at that present time..

If I was a planet and you was a star

We’d shine so bright it would make the sun look bizarre

If we was a galaxy in the darkest end of space

We’d make every other planet look out of place



Let’s slowly melt into a warm embrace

As you exhale, it brushes past my face

Goosebumps run down my spine

And our fingers steadily entwine



Your heart beats its song against my chest

Like a chick calling from it's nest

And then I whispered in your ear, I must confess

You’re not like all the rest.
