A poem about my cat's weather prediction skills. |
| WEATHER CAT When most really need to know What the weather’s going to be, They get the info they need By turning on their TV If a big storm is coming, I need not depend on that. You see I have another source, Mariah’s my weather cat. The day before a big storm Mariah is far from calm. She flies throughout the house Like she just heard a bomb. She knocks over my house plants, Then she skates across the floor. She almost breaks a window On her way to the front door. But when a storm is forecast And Mariah’s sound asleep, I just go about my day My plans and appointments I keep. |
