A poem about my Christmas wish for us all. |
| Let me share with you My Christmas wish It's not for a new car, Cat or a fish It's not for shoes Though mine are old It's not for diamonds, Silver or gold It's not for games Or shiny new toys It's not for drums That make lots of noise It's not for a horse Or a cute little phone It's not for a bike Or a new saxophone It's not for a mansion With 300 rooms It's not for silk sheets Or fine perfumes It's not for a television To hang on the wall It's not for a Canoe Or a new basketball It's not for money To fill up my stocking It's not for a new chair That will never stop rocking It's for peace on earth And heed the angels' call To remember the one Who started it all It's for poor little girls And poor little boys To get what they need And throw in some toys It's for families to mend And to forget who was wrong And remember to forgive Because our time here's not long It's for each of us to have Christmas spirit every day And to hold Christ in our heart So we will never stray This is my Christmas wish That I share with you So God Bless you all And Merry Christmas too! |
