A fun poem about bowling...for serious bowling addicts. |
| The sport of bowling is fun, Whether it’s ten strikes or one, Because it teaches us life Through the pain and the strife. It never matters, the age of the man, As long as he has some kind of plan. For bowling real proud Really does please the crowd, When it’s the seventh frame And you’ve brought your ‘A’ game! It might be hard, not to get your average, When the seventh frame comes, and it’s time to ravage… How fun the task, when the whole of the matter Is how to throw a strike, and make the pins splatter. For being mellow and real Does often conceal The length and the duty, Of kicking some booty! So stay in this town, And never back down – Be up to the task, And do what they ask… For sometimes you’ll see It’s not easy to be, A perfect, hot shooter, Even though you’re much cuter… But never back down, And stay in THIS town, And trial after trial, Use super denial, Because what just couldn’t happen Is your greatest weapon! Be sure to proceed Amidst the greatest need – From the seventh frame on, Strike or you’re gone… |
