Villian in the Night

i used to be scared of the dark and this seemed to explain this fear. its not very good.

Villian in the Night

Night creeps nearer
Breaking through my walls.
My prayers are much dearer
Against a demon who never falls.

Nightmares coming closer,
As I lie awake.
Looking for some closure
My mental peace at stake.

Oh, villian, residing in the night
Take my heart unwilling!
For though my mind is full of fright,
I pray I keep on living

As thou creeps through the night.
