| "The Stars" The stars above, shown so bright Like diamonds, in the night We held each other, as the stars twinkled above As each shooting star passed Made our wishes, upon the stars Night was mystical, under the cloak of darkness We made love, under the stars Cool night air, upon our bodies As we caressed, each other Until morning mist, surrounded us We spoke, of our dreams We spoke our vows, to the heavens above Our Alter, was the meadow All of God’s creation, as our witnesses The marriage bed, grass upon which we laid Cathy Dennis Copyright ©2001 Cathy T.
