no offense

All I wanted was
some candy.
I rang.
And I rang.
And I rang your doorbell.
You never answered.
Christmas, there were never
Lights.
Easter, no colorful eggs.
No Jack-O-Lanterns at
Halloween.
All you had to do was say
You didn’t celebrate
Fuck you Jehovah,
And all your
Witnesses.
