This is just a poem I wrote about a boy I like.

I can’t tell what’s behind that smile
But whatever it is
It gets me every time
I can’t describe the way I feel
When you look into my eyes
Your smile and your stare
Can put me in a trance
I’m not saying that I love you
But a confession
I would like a chance
These feelings on the edge of my heart
Spreading like wild fire
This smile forming with red cheeks
Reveals what I try to hide
I don’t know if you can tell
I’m trying to hide it
But I’m not sure I’m doing very well
I think you have some power
Just by looking at me
It’s like you’re the only thing I see
That’s around in that one moment
That one glance
That one passing by hi
It’s amazing how you do that
It just blows my mind
I get bugged and I turn bright red
And when I hear your name
Your smile, in my head
I can’t really tell
So I was just wondering
One little question
Do you really like me?
Or should I stop trying?
