The Day We Met

an Acronym on the title

The first words we spoke were,
"Hi," and, "How are you?"
Eventually we exchanged names.
Didn't worry about formalities
And somehow fell in love.
You showed me how much
We thought as one,
Encouraged our hearts to blend.
Magnificent pair we were,
Even then knowing
That we were meant to be.
