Wish you'd talk to me
Your anger hits me
Wish you'd love on me
Your coldness burns me
Wish you'd warm to me
Your cutting scars me
Wish you'd cry instead.

Because every little thing you do
Goes straight to the heart of me
I love you more than you'll know
But you keep on hurting me
You just keep hurting me.

Your smile warms me
Wish you'd show it to me
Your words enchant me
Wish you'd speak to me
Your heart entrances me
Wish you'd come close to me
Your tenderness thrills me
Wish you'd laugh instead.
