Four Haikus that take you through the seasons


Seasons Turn

Star spangled summer
coalesce in rainbow bursts
between night and eyes

frost bites summer flies
oak leaves rustle in defeat
unpredictable

Snow covers iced ground
the wind like a hacksaw hums
cuts through autumn limbs

sun sprinkles rainbows
where white fallen petals lie
we celebrate life
