Silently loving someone...

Underneath the city lights
Smile and eyes full of life
I held my breath,
hoping you'd see right through me

My heart strings bound to your beauty
Like Andromeda to her rock
Unintentional, uninvited, but inevitable

You sting
You shine
You burn
You lie
You love
But not me

You're just another mistake
But I can't let go
Of your beautiful imperfections
It's what my hearts beat for
