When you wake up feeling blue
or a little bit lost, it's up to YOU
to turn that frown upside down
and let a SMILE shine through!

When your feet are dragging
and your head is hanging low,
When you just can't get started
with the day, you ought to know

That all it takes to chase the blues
far away from your own front door
is find someone who needs a smile
and the sun will shine once more.

The greatest gift that you can give
is to share a smile with everyone.
Then you can keep them guessing
what's so funny and so much fun!

Before you know it, you'll receive
a smile or two in return, you see.
Give it a try, it will work for you,
like it has always worked for me!

A big toothy grin is sure to win
a smile from anyone you meet;
so practice what I'm preaching
when you walk down the street!
