He never had a Chance

I wrote about our nephew who lives with us whose mom is a drug addict

                                        He never had a Chance

                The innocent baby born not knowing his future-
                A damaged mom, a lost Father never to be found,
                a wounded family of many.  To be so needy to those who are
                needy.  Did he ever have a chance?  The older he would get
                the more needless he would have to be-no choice of his own-
                no chance of change.
                  He never had a chance.
