Whispers in the wind
Words in the air
Whispers not heard
Words not there

Alone in the darkness
Alone with fear
A grimacing grin
A flowing tear

Nowhere to go
No one around
Nowhere is here
No one is found

Caught by the sound
Held to the noise
Sitting on the ground
That feels so moist

So many thoughts
A mind can bring
While lying asleep
Having a dream
