This was written to my other half when I was an adolescent. |
| I have been blessed to have a mother To hold a relationship with me like no other She is not only my mom, but also my friend Keeping like metal that cannot bend We have our ups and we have our downs We have our smiles, along with frowns No matter the problem, we stick together Because I have a mother like no other I don't know what I would do if she weren't like she is: Loving, caring, and extremely selfless Even when her day is the worst it could be She'll do whatever she can, with a smile, to please me I don't know what I'd do if she weren't in my life Giving me a shoulder to lean on when the time is right She would do anything for me because she is my mother And she has a heart like no other She is always there to ease my pain Whether a bowl of soup when I'm sick or an umbrella for the rain She will stay by my side, in life or spirit, forever Because she loves and cares for me like no other |
