FIREFLY

Firefly, firefly
Lighting up the evening sky.
As you flit and fly about
Happy children run and shout.

Let us catch one if we can
It's hard to keep one in your hand
Therefore we must let it go.
Simply enjoying it's pretty glow.

One small insect brings much joy
After a hot summer's day.
Come and watch the fireflies
Be a child for just a day.
