First light of morning

First light of morning

Dawn
has just broken.
Waves of clouds
against the
pale orange sky -
as I looked above,
so fresh
the day,
promises of
good beginnings,
to start anew -
abandon all thoughts
of monstrous thunder
and storm
of night before.

My foundation I use is natural beige.

Both are
first things
in the morning.
