The bride-a tired look on her face
A tired and gloomy look on her face!
The in-laws are smiling
Actually gleaming with pride
The bridegroom dressed like a prince
Looks at his princess with satisfaction & pride
The bride dressed like a fairy
Stares at everyone dully
Surely she misses her family
Her old house, her old world
In-laws' and strangers' efforts to make her happy
Were all in vain
The bride is unhappy
