A couple of days have passed
The event has faded away
A few days more
That is when unity heads to the grave

I stand in the crowd
I stand with everyone
So many have died
Lives torn asunder and thrown to the side
Everyone is weeping
Tragedy brought us together
Soon passing time will rip us apart

A couple of days have passed
The will to stay together has faded away
A few days more
Our feelings of morality are bound for the grave

Death brings us together
Life rips us apart
Why does that seem so contradicting
Where did we go wrong
When will we go right

I stand here in solitude
I stand here alone
A couple of days have passed
And the event has faded away
