Just another love poem I wrote after a break up. |
| It seems that I’ve lost at my own game, Through no talent of yours, But foolishness of mine. You see, I did not know how much I cared for you. And I think on you often, Though not on your faults. For you have many, like I do. But you’ve banished me from Your life and I’m left Grasping for something, A memory that is so vibrant. You knew me best of all, Though it may not have been much. But you made me laugh, Which is more than most can do. I don’t wish for you to go, At least not to another temptress. I want you to be heart broken for me, As I am stung over you. I could never love like I write it You say to me in a whisper Would that I could And I would write only for you. |
