That Night

Just something I thought of. A dream really.

There is a night, I'll never soon forget.
A night filled with indescribable elation.
I remember it well, and do not regret.
The moment we shared, filled with passion.
We were so young and truly immature.
Tried to ignore it, we tried to deny it,
But we gave in to its mystic lure.
No turning back, too late to quit.
Down that path, together we went.
Together still, our whole life spent.
That was a night we'll never forget.
