The guy I wrote this about is so oblivious that he actually asked who it was about...

I try to clear my mind
Time for sleep
Close my eyes
Can't let my mind drift
Or I'll stay awake
Must keep it blank,
Or at least listen to music.
As I lay here
Focusing on nothing
I hear your laugh
This sound
Invades my nothing
Pulls my thoughts to you
I cannot hear it if I try
But when I sleep
When I clear my mind of everything
There it is
Embedded in my deepest thoughts.
Your laugh invades my nothing
My sleep.
