I was the oldest son when Dad died I took over as the monarch. |
My Dad's Shoes My Dad walked all alone. and his shadow was long. A true man among men. he was respectable then. His shoes left a big print. where ever they went. Others men would listen. If he'd voice an opinion. With a softly gentle voice. he spoke his view point. I would grow up to know. what made my Dad go. Some words Dad spoke. I put in my poems I wrote. What ever my Dad taught. will stay in my thoughts. My shoes are a lot smaller. and my shadow is not taller. I'll stand tall and be there. for all the families to care. I could never fill his shoes. But,still I must pay my dues. Follow my Dad's foot steps. they have passed all tests. BY: Kings |
