This is another poem, It is rather anti-religous(I am an atheist) but no offense is meant. |
| Living a Lie I need what my miserable life can't give, Something to make it worth it to live, I wish I could believe in a god, But I fear that I cannot, I want something solid, something real, Something I can touch and feel, The more men I see live and die, The more I think we live a lie, Although religion keeps our sanity, With high hopes of immortality, And since we all fear our deaths, With our final breaths, We shall strongly insist, In a god that does not exist, Although I'm not sure, I cannot tell, Maybe I shall be sent to hell, For writing this heresy, And not believing in God's legacy. |
