This is a poem about our first parents, Adam and Eve. |
| A Garden created on the Eve of full formation Man, an image of the Most High Time frozen in a perfect place With only two A Serpent cunning and shallow Seeks the hearts of the pure The fruit forbidden Adam, firm in the faith Life Giving, the Lady eats first Ensnared by the Knowledge of necessities Man makes amends Banned, destined to die and live by the sweat of his brow Opportunity opens, as two they till the earth Faithfully fulfilling their eternal obligations Without The Sin there would be no life For with no death, life is lost All hearts turn to the ancient For ancient wisdom proceeds eternity Men are not stained by Original Sin Our sins are our own Adam Larry West |
