Short poem. I think the meaning is self-explanatory.

Mend your ways.
Things will improve.
It just means that,
for a while,
you won't know yourself.

And also you may experience
some turbulence as your sense of self
collapses around you,
leaving you bare-faced
and bare-arsed -
for all the world to see.
