Poem to my husband

You are my Rock of Gibraltar
My Island in the Sun
My Knight in Shining Armor
My Summer Full of Fun,
My gentle Midnight Fragrance,
My Morning Cup of Tea,
My Last Drop of Maxwell House,
My Gently Rolling Sea.
You ask me how this came about
But truly I don’t know…
It’s just that once you’d kissed me
My heart just loved you so!
