Trying To Get Started

Just a little note, from POETDONTKNOWIT, the green newbie poetess on the block!

This is my very first attempt at something new
I found this cool site, called Writing,com,
I'm trying so hard to figure out what I'm doing
For I want to get started, before I explode, like a bomb

I shall appreciate any help, for I am a newbie
I've been clicking on everything in sight,
If your out there, I need major help
I'm totally convinced, that I 'm not doing it right

So please forgive me, for being so green
I'm determined to figure this place out,
So if you can help me out in any ole way
