Shadows creep about me,
Giving me comfort and confusion.

Should I be frightened?

Should I let myself be engulfed?

I'm not sure,
I feel safe yet afraid.

Should I trust it?

I don't know,
I can be myself around it.

Should I stay with it?

Forever?

I can't answer these questions,
And I don't think I ever will.
