What if there was no heaven or hell?

What is life really,
But a whisper in the wind
We’re here living our lives
And then, we’re gone, that’s it!

What if life were truly more?
Not just a moment here
What if we live forever,
In a different form from before?

You never know
At least you can dream
We don’t have to believe
But how else are we free?

What if we lived in a dream world?
Surrounded by neither day nor night
Living each day
Like we have a million more

We could sleep all day
And party all night
We wouldn’t be afraid
Because it is us who are the frights

What if we were all
Already dead?
There is no hell or heaven
Just this instead

We wouldn’t have to worry
About good or bad
We could be happy
Or we could be sad
