IT IS DONE

On 11-14-01 I lost a part of my life. I still hear his advice and see his face.

His race is run.  It is done!
Long and hard he toiled. It is done!
He was born in 28. It is done!
He lived through lean times. It is done!
He saw the darkness. It is done!
He saw the light. It is done!
He loved and lost and loved again.  It is done!
He raised four children. It is done!
He walked through life his head held high. It is done!
He bowed before Christ. It is done!
I saw him to his last place of rest.  It is done!
I lowered him down to that rest. It is done!
He started a new life today. It is done!
I buried - Father today.
IT IS DONE!
