Only You Will Know

When is the right time?
To show what she really means
How would I ever know
that she is truly keen?

Our differences are never told
and it hurts me when she holds me
so close I struggle to breathe
but I love it,
even though that one day will come
where she will have to leave.

This pincushion inside me will not shake
and I'm becoming tired of trying to fake
it's not perfect, it never was
those cracks in our relationship, they break
apart, yet still we try.
