A short romance/adventure poem with a point |
| Unicorn Of a fabulous beast, wild and untamed Of beauty and dashing, innocence and flame Of a wonderful form, that no man can grasp Of light obliteration, and we're up to the task To the sight-place we're off! To the sight-place we heed! To only one be victorious, for only one do suceed To the meadows we walk, through the pain, "be there soon..." To the plains, through the pain of our hearts' crying wounds For the song of its whine makes it all worth our wile For it's sweet, succulent taste is what all men desire And only one man can see that it's lies and deceit That lay all men to rest, at the unicorn's feet |
