Long Hours

Some thoughts about time.

Hours trickle by.
Listen to the ticking of seconds 1, 2, 60.
Sixty more.
Flowers know not of time
swaying unconsciously
in the wind
-but time knows of them.
Long seconds,
to long minutes,
to long hours and slowly our time passes by and all
I can think is how my long
hours are wasted , to
short seconds, to nothing.
