I turned My Back

A Brief Look At Eternity

I turned my back on Jesus
But He never turned on me.
I went and did all kinds of things
never thinking He would see

I knew enough about Jesus,
to know that I would pay
But someday was in the future
It didn't concern me today.

I kept up with hurtful deeds,
Thinking I had more time.
Coming face to face with Jesus
Saying"I don't claim you as mine"!

His final words said softly
We're meant only for me.
You denied me in life
How can I set you free?

Satan led me by the hand
sobbing all the way.
I  tried to claimed the Son
Much too late that day!
